Football & Cheer Scholarship Registration

Scholarship Submission Deadline: May 1, 2025

Red Wolves Junior Football/Cheer provides registration fee scholarships to local athletes, who without this financial assistance would not otherwise be able to participate. The RWJFA Scholarship Assistance Program focuses on providing opportunities for our area youth to participate in football & cheer for the physical, mental, and character-training benefits that this program can provide.  

Our primary goal is to support as many young athletes as possible in joining RWJFA. Recognizing the constraints of our financial resources, we aim to assist as many individuals as we can. Therefore, we encourage those who are financially able to opt for monthly installments instead of requesting a scholarship, thereby allowing us to extend our assistance to a greater number of athletes. To make payment arrangements contact info@jrredwolves.com.   

Awards of registration fee assistance are NOT guaranteed to every applicant. Please note that the costs of uniforms are not covered by our registration fee scholarship program and each athlete’s family will be responsible for the cost of their applicable uniforms. 

Requirements for eligibility:

●      Athletes must be age 16 or younger.

●      Commitment to adhere to RWJFA Game and Practice Policy, Player Code of Conduct and Parent Code of Conduct.

●      Commitment by a family member to volunteer during this scholarship season. Failure to fulfill this obligation could result in disqualifying players from future RWJFA Scholarship Assistance Program.

Volunteer Time for Scholarship Season

Volunteer time is based on what you can contribute financially with the below information. Our Volunteer Coordinator will coordinate volunteer time prior to scholarship acceptance.

8+ Hours of Volunteer = 100% discount of registration (not including purchase of uniform/jersey)

6+ Hours of Volunteer = 50% discount of registration

Volunteer Opportunities Include but are not limited to:

●      Concessions + Spirit Wear Sales

●      Game Announcer | Home Games

●      Game Gate Attendant | Home Games

●      Game Clock Management | Home Games

●    Videographer | All Games

●    Photographer | All Games

●      Chain Crew (Down Markers & First Down indicators) | Away games

●      Fundraisers + Support Events/Needs throughout the year

 Application must be completed by a parent, guardian, or head of household, with all requested information provided prior to application deadline of 5/1/2025. (Incomplete applications will not be considered.)

Priority will be given to eligible youth meeting one or more of the criteria below:

●     Receiving assistance from programs such as Food Stamps, Medicaid, SSI, Foster Care, WIC, etc. (Documentation of participation in these programs must be provided).

●      Volunteer commitment

●      Member of a multi-child family

●      Living in a single parent home

●      Written recommendation by school representatives, social workers, youth community center workers, or other social services representatives.

  Note: Approval process of a registration scholarship does not register the participant for RWJFA. Registration scholarship assistance recipients will need to complete all registration documents provided by RWJFA.
