RWJFA offers two cheer programs. Flag Football and Tackle Football. Flag cheer is for ages 5-7. Participants learn the basic of cheer and learn a halftime performance. Flag cheer teams practice 1-2 times per week and then perform at 5-6 games on Saturdays in September and October.

Football cheer is for ages 8-14 or grades 2nd-8th. Participants will build their cheer skills, learn halftime performances, and incorporate advanced cheer elements such as stunts and tumbling. Football cheer practices 3 days a week starting in mid-August and reduce to 2 days a week in September. Football cheer performs at games Saturdays.

Tackle football begins in 3rd grade for most children. If you have a child 6-7 years old or in 1st or 2nd grade this Fall, consider starting them out in our Flag Football program. Our teams will wear the same jerseys as tackle football teams, practice and play on the same fields as our tackle players, and compete with other GEJFA Clubs (e.g. Skyline, Inglemoor, Bothell, etc.). Practices start in early September, teams practice once a week, and play in 5-6 games on Saturdays.

Regular Pricing: $220

Tackle football is for ages 8-14, typically 3rd-9th grade. Players age 7 who are over 60 lbs may be considered for tackle football. Players build their skills at positions on offense and defense. Tackle football is full contact. Teams are formed based on player age and weight. Practices start in early August and teams practice 3 days a week through early November with games on Saturdays.
